Mid-century love

How adorable is this patchwork chest from Schonbuch? One day, when I'm rich and famous, I hope to have an entire house full of mid-century modern pieces like this one. Also, these:

I will sit around in my citrine his & her armchairs quoting Isak Dinesen and sipping iced tea. I will collect argyle sweaters and keep them tucked away in this sideboard:
One day.

  1. Citrine? Is that the French word for "uncomfortable, ill-fitting chair"? In my experience, anything that looks like that will be redolent with the smell of cat urine and have stains with back stories best left unresolved. In fact, I think Isak Dinesen was specifically referring to those armchairs when she said "I don't believe in evil, I believe only in horror."

You would look pretty cute in an argyle sweater, though.
